Members of All Fitness Levels

At Paxton Tennis and Fitness Club, we have a fully equipped gym that carries a wide range of free weights and a broad range of equipment such as: bands, weighted balls, Bosu balance boards, Kettlebells, battleropes, and sandbags. We’ve expanded our weight training room to 650 square feet with power racks, benches, new dumbbells, and rowing machines.  We also have a turf room where most of our strength classes are held. Try out our Keiser spin bikes which have an unlimited adjustment feature and the pneumatic technology Keiser workout equipment. We also have ellipticals, treadmills, and other calorie-burning cardio equipment.

All new members are entitled to a free consultation with one of our personal trainers about what the Paxton Tennis & Fitness Club has to offer upon completing the full-year membership sign-up process.  This free orientation offer must be scheduled within the first 30 days of your new membership or it becomes invalid.  This includes an introduction to the machines, equipment, pool facility, and classes. Please schedule your appointments through the front desk.

Fitness Classes

We offer a variety of fitness & swim classes to suit beginner to advanced members.  All fitness & swim classes require sign up, which opens 48 hours prior to class.  Members can sign up by calling the front desk @ 508-755-8223 or by accessing the online portal through the link above.  *Registrants who fail to show up for a class that they have signed up for will be subject to a $10 no show fee.  No fee will be charged if the registrant calls to cancel their registrarion prior to class.

Class Descriptions

Daybreak Yoga w/Sarah - Mondays 8-9am
Start your week off right with a moving meditation of traditional and unique flows incorporating postures, breath, balance, & stretching fo Body, Mind, & Energy.  Perfect for beginners to experienced yogis.

Pedal Power w/Michele- Mondays 8-8:45am 
Intervals, rolling hills, sprints, climbs, runs, surges, and jumps all to music hand-picked to motive and inspire in this great workout to burn calories, relieve stress and increase endurance.

Zumba® Block Party w/Stacey - Mondays 5:30-6:15pm 
All over toning & cardio with rockin' beats for a dance block party.  You won't even know you're getting a workout.  No dance experience necessary, just move and groove!

BoxFit Bootcamp w/Eric- Mondays 6-7pm (*4 week Session 11/28-12/19)
This is a 1 hour fitness class using a combination of free weights, functional body movements, and cardiovascular intervals.  Elements of boxing training (sparring, heavy bag, and targeted core exercises) will be thematic.  No boxing experience required.  We will practice basic drills and movements with a cardio/strength focus.  This class will run for 4 weeks but will follow the same registration process as our regular fitness classes.

PiYo w/Michele - Tuesdays 9-10am
Join us in this high energy class for those who love the core-building of yoga, the strength-training of Pilates, and the non-stop action of cardio!  Get ready to sweat!

Barre TRX w/Tina - Tuesdays 6-7pm
For a low joint impact intense workout, tone your entire body with an emphasis on glutes and core with high rep and controlled Barre movements, and develop arm, shoulder and back strength with TRX body weight exercises.

Core Concepts w/Sarah - Wednesdays 9-10am
Minimal equipment for maximum results!   With no impact, we mix strength moves and full body functional fitness for an effective workout that will improve your posture, range, and ease of motion and daily movements.

Total Body Training w/Michele - Thursdays 9-10am
Get the best of both worlds in this cardio strength class made for all fitness levels.  You will have your pick of cardio equipment.  We wll transition between cardio and light weights to give your mind and body a complete workout.  This is a great workout to increase endurance and gain strength in one class!

Flex Time w/Tina - Saturdays 8:30-9:30am
This strength-based class targets all of the major muscle groups including legs, chest, back, arms, and care with full body low impact exercises.  It utilizes dumbbells, body bars, resistance tubes, BOSU balls, TRX,and more to increase strength and endurance.  Personalized/individulized to accommodate all ages and fitness levels from beginner to advanced.

Aqua Fitness and Silver Sneakers®

Surf's Up w/Wendy - Mondays & Wednesdays 10-11am
A higher intensity water workout for aerobic conditioning, muscle strength and dynamic movements in the water.  This class will energize you for the rest of your day!

Silver Sneakers® SPLASH! w/Wendy - Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:15-9:15am
This is our NEW Silver Sneakers® branded & certified class!  Make waves in this moderate pool workout using the resistance of the water to tone, find balance, improve cardio & keep joints safe!

Water Warriors w/Harriet - Fridays 10-11am
For the fitness enthusiast looking to challenge their balance, cardio, strength, and agility.  This powerful aqua class reduces impact on joints and uses the resistance of the water for a full body workout.

Contact the front desk to schedule time with one of our highly qualified, professional personal trainers for private and semi-private instruction.  We have a great staff of Personal Trainers that will help you design a work out plan perfect for your needs.  Please contact the front desk to arrange a consultation.  Our personal training rates are as follows (member/nonmember):

  • 1 Hour Session Private - $70/$85
  • 1 Hour Semi-Private - $90/$120
  • Prepaid 6 1 hour Private Sessions - $390/$480
  • Prepaid 6 1 hour Semi Private Sessions - $520
  • Student (*16 years & under): 1 hour $60/Prepaid(6 sessions)$330 - MEMBERS ONLY
